Spell: Steps for Success

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Red brick dust is powerful protection magic. It's easy to make with a red brick, a hammer, and a mortar and pestle—breaking up and grinding down the brick—or it can be purchased from magic shops online or in person. This spell uses four cups of hot water and a pinch each of red brick dust, cinnamon, and brown sugar. You'll also need a small bucket or similar container, a scrubbing brush, and a washcloth.

Put the hot water in the bucket and add the dry ingredients. Mix well. Use the scrubbing brush to wash a door step or threshold with this solution. (If using this on a threshold, reduce the quantity of water.) Scrub with the brush in a spiral, going clockwise, until all the mixture has been used. Dry the doorstep or threshold with the washcloth, starting on the outside and moving inward. Envision favor able energy moving toward you as you do so. This spell can be done at any time but is particularly effective on Wednesdays.
