Since this is the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month, let's pay homage to Pachamama, the beloved Earth Goddess revered by the indigenous peoples of the Andes. She is of the soil and her blessings yield crops.

Put on a long red dress or clothing that contains red and a dark hat. Have a shawl handy (alpaca works well). Gather a basket of fresh produce and herbs. Tuck a cold beer into the basket. Put on your shawl. Find a spot that speaks of Earth's fertility. Set the basket down. Pour the beer as a libation as you thank Pachamama for her blessings. Sit comfortably or stand and reflect on her beauty, fecundity, and generosity.
