Spell: Spell for Easter

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is a day of opening, of change and transformation. Focus today on the things you wish to transform in your life. For Christians this is the highest of holy days. In Christian belief Jesus emerged from the cave after three days in the realm of the dead, and he walked among humans before ascending back into heaven. In Greek tradition, the maiden goddess Persephone returned from the realm of the dead in spring to walk again on earth. Whatever your belief system, this is a time of sacred transformation and reverence for life and rebirth. It is a time when the energy of millions of people is focused on gratitude, joy, and celebrating life's mysteries. It is a good time to focus on strengthening spirit and community by saying:

Air, fire, water, earth
Bless this day of rebirth.
Transform all that I see
Into truth, freedom, clarity.

Sharpen my focus
And strengthen my will.
Give my heart compassion
toward any and all.

Banish all separateness,
And replace it with joy.
Let me hear music clear,
In a diversity of voices.

Bring success in all things,
and gratitude for the gift.
May I walk in wisdom,
And understand the truth.

So mote it be.
