Incense of the day: Rose Labor Day is an American holiday that honors working people. What better reward for hard-working people is there than a day of rest? Regardless of whether you love your job or hate it, this is a day of rest from it. Take a small box and a piece of paper. On the paper, write the name of your workplace, your job title, and any worries or ongoing thoughts about the job. Place the paper in the box and chant: "Close the box and shut the lid. Thoughts of work are from me hid." With a deep breath, put the box on your altar and go have fun. Tomorrow, open the box and take the paper to work with you and deal with your issues, as appropriate. |
