Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Cinnamon This is the day to celebrate your magical hound. Dogs don't just accompany dark gods and goddesses on night hunts-they protect their humans and offer unswerving love and devotion. Bless the dog in the name of Cerridwen or Hathor or the Lady of the Beasts. Take your dog on a long walk. Be completely in the moment with the dog. Don't check your watch. Don't tug the dog away from sniffing or exploring (unless it's putting either one of you in danger). Learn from the dog's appreciation of smell, sight, sound, the delight in the now of life and see how you can use the qualities in your own life. Give your dog some favorite treats and a specially blessed meal, and take extra time to play. If you don't have a dog, borrow one! |
