Spell: The Night Prayer

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Turquoise
Incense of the day: Rose

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims recite the Taraweeh prayer at night. This is a longer prayer than most daily prayers and some Muslims have been known to spend all night in prayer. In honor of this unique month-long holy period, non-Muslims may want to offer a nightly prayer each evening for a week or a month. Just before bed, stand outside or by a window and begin with a review of your day. Let go of any regrets or frustrations and end by giving thanks for even the smallest blessings. Give thanks for the Moon and stars and the fact that you are able to appreciate the wonders of the night. With each step on your way to bed, offer a blessing for yourself, someone you know, or the world. As you lie down to sleep, ask for beautiful dreams to fill your night.
