Color of the day: Lavender
Incense of the day: Clary sage May is a month of fertility, creativity, and productivity. The garden is abundant with new life. Flower bulbs force through the fecund earth, opening their petals to the Sun. Birds are nesting, animals are birthing, bees are beginning their buzz. The night's embrace feels cool and seductive, luring us outside to wonder at the beauty of the evening. Look up at the Moon, for she is full tonight and she will reveal the ripening fruit on the vine and grant us hidden desires. Stand skyclad (if that feels right) under the Full Moon. Reach your arms upward and recite: Swollen belly beaming down, Surround me With your mantle. Drape me in A gossamer gown And crown of golden apples. That I may charm The gods of seeds, Enchant them With my flower, To grant me My desire and need, Impregnate me with power. Ask for what you desire. |
