Incense of the day: Marjoram The Matralia is the festival of the Italian goddess of the dawn, Mater Matuta. This day was for the safe birth and happiness of all children. Women traveled to the temple with their sister's children and prayed for their welfare. This would be a perfect day to work a charm for the happiness and health of the children of your friends and relatives who bless your life. List the names of these beloved children on a piece of paper. Then set a white candle in a holder on top of the paper. Light the candle and focus on the children. See them happy, healthy and strong. When you are ready, read the charm. Mater Matuta, Watch over these little ones I pray. Make them grow both strong And true, gaining wisdom Every day. |
