Color of the day: Yellow
Incense of the day: Juniper Today marks the Feast of St. Andrew, the patron saint of fishermen and mariners. Andrew was a fisherman from Galilee who became one of Jesus' first disciples. He is well remembered for the Bible story where he participated in creating a feast for a crowd out of only five loaves of bread and a couple of fish. He reminds us of the miracles in our own lives whereby positive intention causes good things to multiply. Think of something you need more of in your life, be it love, money, faith, or compassion. Thoughtfully prepare a stew of fish and vegetables as you welcome the goodness and magic of St. Andrew into your home. Toast him with a glass of red wine. Then stir in the magic of multiples by reciting: A loaf of bread, This fine fish stew, A glass of wine To toast Andrew And bid him come, Sit by my side And dine with me As I confide A wish that At the very least Will grow from fallow Into feast. State your wish. |
