Spell: Protection from Peeping Toms

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The symbol of the eye has been used in nearly every human cultural tradition. More often than not, the symbol of the eye holds protective value and has long been associated with having "extra eyes," or enhanced vision. Throughout history, this desire for awareness has presented itself through the symbolism of the eye. A clear symbol of knowledge and perception, the eye is also linked with invisible forces, the unknown, and unexplainable events in life. The all-piercing eye is a common theme in spiritualist and psychic studies. To the unconscious mind, the eyes represent our entryway to the Earth plane: the gateway to our soul. Drawing eyes on doorframes, windows, and mirrors is a common tradition in eastern Mediterranean cultures. Because these entryways are portals of unpredictable energy brought in by residents and visitors, they have long been perceived as energy vortexes. Using the eye to mark these vortexes stabilizes energy and promotes harmony.
