If you have a garden, it's great to save seeds from your plants so you can plant the following year without investing in seeds. Another benefit is that by using seeds of your own harvest, you keep the cycle of abundance going in your life without breaking it, and the magic just builds year after year. Gather flowers, vegetables, or herbs that have gone to seed, and collect the seeds in small envelopes or zip-lock bags. Be sure to mark them so you know what they are. Place them on your altar with some of your current harvest, and light a beeswax candle. Bless your seeds:
"By seed, sprout, stem, blossom, and fruit, I bless these seeds to soon take root. From my own bounty, I gather potential, For next year's planting shall be monumental!" Store your seeds in a cool, dry place, and don't forget about them next spring! |
