Make today about personal growth and generosity by using an affirmation ritual. The repetition of an affirmation is useful to reprogram your way of thinking. You will need a journal, a special pen of your choosing, and perhaps a blue candle to burn while you work. You'll need to write your affirmation at least fifteen to twenty times a day, focusing on what you are doing. Start with something like this:
"I strive toward higher things, toward better things." After three days, move on to an affirmation that focuses more specifically on what you want to work on, always using a positive I am or I can sort of statement, such as: "I am more patient with myself." Or perhaps: "I am more confident when dealing with clients." Give each affirmation at least a week to set in. |
