Daily practices add up to great things. One small step after another takes you a long way. My most amazing accomplishments are all the culmination of something done daily over a long period of time. Twenty-five years clean and sober, parenting a healthy, happy teenager, and excellent health and wellness are all the result of showing up daily and taking that one small step.
Whether or not you currently meditate, set aside a few minutes today to sit in silence. Settle yourself cross-legged, with your back straight, neck long, and chin slightly tucked. Rest your hands on your thighs. Inhale deeply and exhale even more slowly. Repeat. Sink into relaxation. Focus on your posture and breath, coming back to them when your mind wanders off. Ask, What do I need to know today? And listen. Divine guidance will come to you from your own depths. Be blessed. |
