Spell: Release Worry

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

When we think of cleansing and clearing, it's usually a physical object or a place-but how often do we try to clear ourselves of emotional baggage? Try this ritual as a kind of reset button for your emotions.

Make a list of things you've been worrying about-for example, finances, an employment situation, health concerns, relationships, etc. As you write down each worry, imagine you are setting it aside for a while. You don't have to worry about it or think about it at all-at least not until you're ready.

Fold the piece of paper and place a piece of black tourmaline on top of it. You can also use a clear quartz point. Leave this on your altar as long as you wish. Chant:

"Things that cause me worry,
rest beneath this stone,
Help to ease the burden
'til I can face it on my own."

When you feel the spell is complete, destroy the paper and cleanse the stone.
