The weather was temperate and end-of-summer insects were abundant. I first noticed the grasshopper after I was well on my way, driving, with no place to pull over. It clung to the front passenger window for eight miles. Amazing! Upon reaching my destination, I gently removed it and placed it in the grass. The next day, I discovered a grasshopper clinging to the inside of the screen of my patio door. I knew at that moment that someone, somewhere, was trying to get my attention. Grasshoppers leap forward and bring good luck to any future endeavor. I cherish the messages sent by my little green friends and gladly face whatever comes next.
"Happy grasshopper, harbinger of good luck, I'm grateful for your visit, A reminder to look to the future. All is well, all will be well. All will always be well." |
