Spell: Altar Cleansing

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Sometimes as a result of our busy lives, our altars become neglected and covered with dust or clutter. Take some time to remove all the items and clean them as well as the altar itself. Clean physically and magically. Remove dust and dirt first, and clean all your objects and tools. Then perform a cleansing ritual.

Create a cleansing "potion" by adding a few drops of lemon juice to a cup of warm water. Put the lemon water in a spray bottle and add a clear quartz crystal. Also add a grain of salt, if desired (saltwater can damage some surfaces).

Spray this mixture lightly on everything, then dry with a soft cloth. Visualize the space and objects being refreshed and renewed for their purposes. Chant as you clean:

"This space is clean, the objects too,
With the water, all renew.
Unwanted energy dispel,
With these words, all be well."
