Historically the Roman festival of Terminalia was held on February 23, honoring Terminus, the god who protected boundary markers. Today is a great day to invoke healthy boundaries, both physical and emotional, and consciously set them.
If you have neighbors, make an effort to exchange good energy with them. Even if you don't see them, you can do a quick shovel of their walkway or some other task. The act of doing good for your neighbor energetically sets the stage for a good relationship. While you are doing simple physical tasks, take time to walk the boundary between your properties and invoke Terminus: "Terminus, guide us to live in peace. I respect my neighbor; may they respect me. Protect our boundaries so we can live in ease, Terminus, now be here with me." As you walk the property boundary, know that you are simultaneously setting your own healthy boundary and observing your neighbor's boundary. |
