Spell: A Simple Litha Wish Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The practice of floating a wish to the Goddess in the form of a rose on a body of flowing water is a time-honored tradition and a nice way to celebrate the summer solstice in a simple yet powerful rite. To do this, choose a place in nature that has meaning and beauty for you. Take a rose for each wish you would like to manifest (other flowers are fine, too, if roses are not affordable or available) and cast a simple circle at the edge of a lake, stream, river, or ocean. Hold each rose while visualizing your wish successfully and beautifully manifested. As you release the wish to the water, say:

"Now begins the season of fire.
May I be blessed with my desire."

Be sure to float one flower to the Goddess with no wish attached, to say thank you for her blessings.
