Spell: Into the Deep Earth

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The time of the waning moon, especially just before the new moon, is an ideal time for introspection and inner work. This meditation brings an awareness of the land and provides an opportunity to release stress and worry.

Close your eyes. Envision a cave in front of you. Walk into the cave and keep going further through the darkness until you come to a clearing lit by a soft inner glow. Sit down in this clearing, feeling the land beneath you. Look up and see where the light is coming from, a million little lights glowing above- the stars inside the earth. Now is the time to connect and release. Feel the security of the earth and let go of anything that troubles you, knowing the energy will be recycled by the land. When you are ready to end the meditation, walk out of the cave and open your eyes.
