For each bad habit you wish to banish, take a small piece of paper. Write words or phrases that describe the bad habit and the ways in which it’s hurting you. (For example, you might write “soda pop” and all of its health implications, or “negative thinking” and all of its energetic consequences.) Cast a protective circle, then invite and safely light a black candle for your most powerful protective deity. Tell your deity that you wish to be free of this habit and why. Chant: Follow up by keeping that energy away from yourself. Repeat the chant whenever you feel drawn to return to the bad habit. |
