Spell: A Holiday Spending Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Here’s a spell to help keep your holiday spending under control. You’ll need a dollar bill, a cinnamon stick, and some gray ribbon or yarn. You’ll also need about two days for this spell to begin working.

First, select a night and hide the dollar bill outside your front door. The next morning, bring it in and wrap it around the cinnamon stick. Secure the dollar to the cinnamon stick by tying it into place using the ribbon or yarn; tie it in a knot. Next—this is important—don’t spend any money today. Visualize your money growing. See yourself spending just what you need for gifts. Place the dollar, still tied to the cinnamon stick, in your pocket or purse. Carry it with you as you shop for gifts. If you get the urge to overspend, touch the dollar until the feeling passes. This will keep you from splurging.
