It’s the end of Pride Month. Let’s balance our energies with the help of Erinle, the Yoruba orisha and patron of the LGBTQIA+ community. This orisha, like many nonbinary people, doesn’t fit neatly into any one gender category. Erinle is a hunter who resides in many places: forests, farms, and waters. This complex orisha is the perfect choice to engage with the energies of a beautifully diverse community. Let’s draw the orisha to us with gorgeous coral, turquoise, and/or indigo silk or satin cloth. Set a piece of fabric of this type on a table to begin. In a crystal or glass bowl, drop the following essential oils: Swirl to mix or use a glass stirrer, and place the bowl on the cloth. Put on some relaxing music for an hour. Touch your pulse points with the oils. Lie on a yoga mat and meditate. See what Erinle has to show and say to you. |
