Spell: Time for a Pause Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

We are about a month after the summer solstice. Now nature begins to take a pause. You can just feel it. The rush of spring growth is over and the climb begins toward the harvest. Even weeds seem to grow more slowly now. Take a tip from nature and take a pause yourself.

For this spell you'll need a clock or watch and a piece of fabric. Perform this spell when you won't be disturbed. Shut off your phone. Place the clock or watch and the fabric on your altar. Cover the clock with the fabric. Say these words:
Stop the clock and pause all time.
Now is the time to relax my mind.

As you sit before your altar, close your eyes. Do a short meditation. Think of ways you could take a pause. For example, you could take a walk, read, or sit on your porch. Now open your eyes and go do one of those relaxing activities—without guilt. When you return to your normal routine, think of how you could work a pause into your life on a regular basis.
