Spell: Full Moon Release Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Tonight we have a full harvest moon with a lunar eclipse. When these occur together, it is the perfect time to do some type of release spell. This could include any number of release situations. Perhaps you wish to release a person, job, or some type of negative situation from your life. With a regular full moon, it is usually a good time to try to work some type of magic that will bring something to you. Now, with a full moon/lunar eclipse combination, the opposite is true: this is the time to release something from your life. First think of what it is you wish to release. Then let's begin.

This spell is best done in a darkened room. Sit on the floor in a comfortable position. Ground and center. I recommend using no candles or incense—just you and the dark and the quiet. Breathe steadily.

In a calm voice, state what it is you wish to release. If it's a person, wish them well. You may say their name. Then say something like, "They are released." If it is a situation, then say, "It's released." You may also add phrases such as "with harm to none."

Do this release spell for about fifteen minutes. When done, slowly return to a regular state of mind. Turn on dim lights, play soft music, or take a bath. Do anything to help you focus calmly. You are done.
