I live on the shore of Lake Ontario, the fifth largest Great Lake and the seventeenth largest lake in the world. As the biggest spiritual influence over my life, water is central to my magical practice.

I attend water-keeper ceremonies aimed at raising awareness and encouraging action to protect drinking water sources. I know the value of this sacred lake. Today I will teach you a chant based on a well-known goddess chant in honor of the Great Mother. I have co-opted it to honor the water:
