Mugwort is great to work with for divination. It helps you slip into a relaxed dreamlike trance state, opening yourself to receive and interpret messages more easily. Lavender, sacred lotus, and rose petals make ideal accompaniments to add to the tea, in both flavor and power.

Mix these ingredients together, adjusting quantities according to your own personal taste and what you have available. Sacred lotus may be a bit expensive and can be a little difficult to find. Mugwort tea can be bought already bagged, or you can use any other food-grade quality mugwort along with the other dried flowers.

When you are ready to use the tea, let it steep in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes. While it is steeping, carefully hold the cup in your hands, or hold your power (dominant) hand over the cup, and say:

Help me to divine the truth.

Help me to see the unknown.

This blend not only works as a tea, but also can be smoked on its own or combined with cannabis for even more potent effects.
