Today is Mabon, a time of balance. The light and the dark stand equal, with the dark increasing. Everything is in flux, balanced on the point of a pin. It is this balance that gives power and mobility. So, too, must your life be balanced so that you can respond as needed.

For this spell, you will need a pocket compass, the kind with a metal pointer balanced on a post. Sunset is the best time for casting, though any time during the day will work. Cup the compass in your hands and pay attention to how the pointer wobbles and turns but always finds its way. Think about the different parts of your life and how you balance them. Then say:

As without, so within,
Turn on the point of a pin.
As within, so without,
Find balance without a doubt.

Keep the compass on your altar, and turn to it when you need more balance.
