Spell: Pocketful of Sunshine

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today, even while we are still in the depths of winter's darkness, invoke the energy of sunshine to bring happiness to your heart. On this sun-ruled Sunday, as the daylight continues to slowly yet steadily grow, the brightness of yesterday's full moon is still in effect. Hold a citrine quartz (in crystal or jewelry form) in the palm of one hand. During daylight hours, in the light of the sun if possible (shining through a window or outside), close your eyes, take some deep breaths, relax your body, and steady your mind. Say:

I call on the sweetness and happiness of the sun. Sacred Sun, thank you for filling this stone with your joyful light.

Envision and sense the crystal glowing and pulsating with the blindingly bright, life-giving energy of the sun. Then carry it with you or wear it. As you do, sense yourself being supercharged with vitality, enthusiasm, and delight. Feel your heart shining like the sun.
