| This spell requires several lengths of cloth, or shawls, or large scarves, etc. While in a private place, like your bedroom, remove your clothes and then bathe or shower. Light a white candle and place it before your favorite representation of the Mother Goddess. Take the various cloths and bless them by Water and Earth, Fire, and Air.
Chant: Goddess be with me, Goddess protect me. Then, begin wrapping cloths around your body. Continue chanting and wrapping yourself until your body, including your feet and head are covered. When you are completely covered, chant three more times, then take a few deep breaths, and feel yourself wrapped in the protection of the Goddess. Slowly unwrap yourself, then blow out the candle. Carefully fold and put away the cloths. Wear one or two of them whenever you feel the need for protection-every day if you wish. |
