Stress seems to be a constant companion with the demands of job, family, and friends. Sometimes we can get too stressed out, and we need to stop and take care of ourselves.
Each day we should make time for ourselves. Some quiet time should be an essential part of our daily routine, as it does help us keep in good health. Many find relief in a bath with essential oils that promote relaxation, like lavender and rose, and soft candlelight. Others will close the door to their bedroom and relax with some soft music or a good book. You may like a walk to enjoy a touch of nature. No matter what you do, each day should include at least some quiet time for yourself. I recommend at least half an hour a day. Make it part of your routine. |
