Spell: Re-creating Seawater

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The ocean is a powerful source of magic and energy. It features in mythology around the world. It embodies the divine feminine. The ocean symbolizes mystery, mysticism, and power. Therefore, seawater functions in many spells. This poses a challenge for people who live inland.
You can make your own seawater for ritual use. For this, you will need distilled water and sea salt. You can find sea salt for the kitchen at natural food stores, or you can get the kind meant for saltwater aquariums at a pet store, which has a formula on the back. A good rule of thumb is about half a cup of salt per gallon of water. Add a blessing if you wish.
Set the container of water outdoors or in a window for twenty-four hours, exposing it to sunlight and moonlight. After this, you can use it in spells or rituals.
