Start your week off with some balance work. Stand in yoga tree pose. While holding the pose, experiment with your arm placement. Begin with hands at prayer, then move them about, outstretched to the sides, up over your head, like the branches of a tree. As you do so, notice how you begin to lose your balance, but your body fights to regain it. If your foot drops, go ahead and start again. Fight to keep the balance in your pose.
Think about what areas of your life feel out of balance. How can you manipulate your life to bring your balance back? When the branches of your life start swaying in the breeze, how do you continue to hold yourself upright? Spend some time visualizing your life in perfect balance. What does that look like for you? |
