Spell: Firefly Wishes

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

With the warmer weather come fireflies, also called lightning bugs because of the way they flash on and off. There is something truly magical about standing outside in the dark, warm night and watching these tiny beetles sending secret messages to each other. They might almost be fire elementals, summer heat made manifest.

If you are lucky enough to have fireflies where you live, you can try making a wish on a firefly, sending your own message out into the universe. If not, try watching a video of them online and then visualizing them outside your window. Say:

"Firefly, firefly,
light up the night.
Take with you my wish and
bless it with light"
