Spell: Clean Slate

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Rosh Hashanah represents fresh starts, as it is the Jewish New Year. We can tap into the energies of fresh starts and the lunar phase of the new moon to give our magickal workings an extra boost. For this spell we will focus on letting go of our previous misdeeds in order to make a clean start.

You will need a small dish with sand in it. Use a chopstick or pencil to write in the sand the transgression that you want to eliminate. Once you have done so, see in your mind how you can correct it. Then smooth over the sand, erasing what was written there, while saying:

What once was is no more.

Now you can start fresh, with a clean slate.
