Have you accomplished everything you wanted to this year? If you want to keep your wishes organized in a magical way, create a hope chest. In it you put photos, drawings you create, or even a small toy representing the things you are hoping for.

First, go to a craft shop and purchase a box. You'll probably want a plain one you can decorate. Next, pick out any supplies you may need, such as paints, markers, glitter, etc. Also have on hand some dried lavender or a lavender sachet.

Now begin to decorate your hope chest. Remember to have fun! You want good vibes to surround your chest. When done, scatter the lavender or place the lavender sachet in the bottom of the box. Lavender draws happiness and good fortune, and that's what we want. Lastly, begin filling your chest with tokens of the hopes and dreams you have: a new home, a car, a new career—anything you wish. During the coming year, add or remove things as your hopes change.
