Spell: A Charm of Protection

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

There are many times in our lives when we feel the need for protection, and for a multitude of reasons. At such times, a protection charm kept close may provide emotional support as well as psychic safekeeping.

Into a small drawstring bag, place the following: ¼ teaspoon each of rosemary and clove, a paper clip, a short piece of black cord, and several of these stones or crystals: amethyst, basalt, fluorite, hematite, quartz, obsidian, or tiger's-eye. Then add small personal items that speak to you of protection: tiny toys or figures, a coin, a small key, etc.

Place the filled bag on your altar space. Sprinkle it with water and a pinch of soil from your yard or the grounds around your home. Light a candle and safely pass it above the bag from east to west and north to south, repeating:

Elementals, bless this charm.
Keep me safe from daily harm.

Extinguish the candle. Keep the charm near you at all times, envisioning each item ensnaring or warding off harm.
