| Do you wish you could start over, erase mistakes, and begin anew? Maybe you have a bad habit you want to let go of, replacing it with something healthier or happier. Well, today's your lucky day. As the Moon begins a new cycle, so can you. With today's New Moon, you can pick yourself up, wash yourself off, and start all over again.
Turn off the bathroom light, leaving just enough light to see by. Think about what you want to be rid of. Take a cleansing shower or bath in the dark. Step into the water. Know that darkness is not dangerous, but a part of the natural cycle. As the water washes over you, let go of what you want to release. Be cleansed, and let your worries wash down the drain. When you feel cleansed, step out of the water, towel off, and open the bathroom door. As you step out into the light, envision your new beginning. Affirm in detail what you want to start anew, and know that as the Moon swells and grows, so will the energy of what you have initiated. Dress, and take one small step toward your new beginning. |
