Spell: A Candle Spell for Expansion

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The spring season is a good time to begin something new, and Thursdays are good days for magic involving expansion. Think of an area of your life where you would like to grow. This could be financially, spiritually, intellectually, or perhaps advancement in your career field. But beware: make sure you don't ask for more than you can handle. The magical influence of this day can be unpredictable. Use a purple or dark blue candle if possible. If not, use white and use a colored altar cloth or candleholder. Charge your candle by carving your goal into the wax. Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg in the bottom of your candleholder and put the candle on top of it. Outside your candleholder, place a stone of amethyst or turquoise. Visualize your goal and light the candle. Allow the candle to burn out completely today, or over the next few days.
