Spell: Enchanting a House Guardian

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

If you wish to charge an object and have it as a house guardian, take a small elf statue and place it on the fireplace mantle. (If you do not have a fireplae, you can hang a "kitchen witch" up in your kitchen.) Set a bowl of honey and a beeswax candle safely nearby. Ask the Goddess to bless your work, then light the candle. When the candle is lit, hold the statue or kitchen witch and send white light into it while chanting:

"Magical creature, charged with life, protect this house from damage and strife.
New little spirit, quick-witted, loyal, powerful, and true, in the name of the Goddess, I give form to you!
Blessed may you be, I name you (state name), O mystic Fae,
Guard this home in which you stay."

Breathe gently on the statue to "give it life." Pour the honey out onto bare earth.
