Spell: A New Moon Dung Ball Spell

The Egyptians used scarabs in many ways-as amulets, decorations, and seals. Khepera was the beetle-formed god of the Sun, who rolled his eggs in a ball of dung. Most of us feel we have enough dung in our lives already. To help cope with this detritus, take a small lump of air-drying clay or potting soil and form it into a ball. Think about all of the "dung" that surrounds you, and press these thoughts into the ball. Let this dung ball dry, and when it is ready, think again on the dung that you put into it while you were forming it. Take the ball with you to a place away from your home and hurl it against a wall, fence, or cliff side. As the fragments scatter, know that the dung will no longer clutter up your life.
