Spell: Magical Dishwashing

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

For most practitioners who align the seasons with the four elements, autumn is linked to the power of water. The energy of water is magnetic in nature and is tied to emotion and intuition. Connecting to water can help to heal and nurture our spiritual and emotional selves.

Though a relaxing candlelit bath with incense and exotic oils can be spiritually cleansing and recharging, our busy lives don't always allow for such luxuries. If quick showers are a way of life, a longer connection to water can be achieved during a mundane activity: washing dishes. Scrubbing a sink full of dishes can be a meditative act if you allow yourself to zone out. Just connect to the power of the water to cleanse and heal. You can will that it pull any incorrect or harmful energies from you, thereby cleansing your dishes and your aura.
